Commercial Finance Manager - PB/11277

The Commercial Finance Manager will assist the Financial Reporting Manager in providing business focussed financial support to management and ensuring the effective control of the accounting and financial reporting processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with the Operational Managers and assist the budgeting process, identifying and investigating issues
  • Contribute to the monthly reporting process - prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, analyses and forecasts for the Financial Reporting Manager and the Finance management team.
  • Liaise with Business Managers, to prepare year end schedules and carry out projects as directed by the Financial Controller
  • Deputise for the Financial Reporting Manager.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:-

  • Qualified ACA,ACCA,CIMA with at least two years' work experience in either management accounting or audit
  • Good interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with financial and non-financial managers at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills with experience of operating computer-based financial management systems
  • Willingness and ability to take the initiative not only in identifying problems but also in suggesting and implementing solutions
  • The ability to present detailed and complex financial information in a clear, concise and readily understandable way
