Recruitment Consultants

Balanced People is a specialist Financial recruitment consultancy based in the west end of London. Candidates that we represent typically hold professional accountancy qualifications (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and range from newly-qualified accountants to highly-experienced Financial Directors. In addition we have a division that represents part-qualified and student accountants including bookkeepers, payroll specialists and accounts assistants.

We are currently recruiting two Recruitment Consultants to help grow our business. Previous sales experience within a professional environment would be very advantageous in addition to a strong career drive and a can do attitude. On the job and professional training will be provided.

Balanced People is a subsidiary of top 20 accountancy firm Kingston Smith so applicants can be assured of our professionalism, quality control and relationship focus. The role is detailed as follows:

Role purpose: Provide a total quality recruitment service to a portfolio of clients and candidates.

Role goals: Achieve pre - agreed individual targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

Responsibilities:

Clients:

  • Develop a new portfolio of clients though cold calling, active marketing and networking at conferences
  • Attend and then lead client meetings to take job briefs, advise on recruitment strategies and pitch for retained assignments
  • Expand sector knowledge and develop good working relationships with Financial Directors, Controllers and HR professionals
  • Carry out head-hunting exercises to find candidates with difficult to source skill sets
  • Pitch and present to clients for Preferred Supplier status

Candidates:

  • Generate high calibre candidates though advertising and head-hunting
  • Carry out in-depth interviews and manage candidates expectations honestly
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process - Arrange interviews for clients and candidates, take feedback from both parties, present job offers to candidates and help the candidate through the resignation process
  • Write adverts for publication on job boards and in the media

The Future: Increased earnings as billing levels increase and development within a meritocratic environment leading to promotion to either Senior Consultant or Manager
