Group Financial Controller - PB/GFC - Maternity Cover

Our client is a highly successful and well known advertising company and one of the leading names within their market. They are profitable and growing and working with some of the worlds leading brands.

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, commercial, financial professional to lead their Finance team for 6 – 9 months.This is a critical role within the business and reports to the Chief Operating Officer. Managing a team of five the Group Financial Controller will influence many finance and non finance issues across the business.

The individual who will be successful in this role will have a can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills combined with extensive advertising experience.

The Role:-

Lead the London Finance team including the production of monthly reports, updated forecasts, cash flow requirements and client profitability
Oversee international offices’ performance and act as a business partner and support to non-Financial areas of the business
Provide leadership on the use of Maconomy across the business including queries, set-up, user assistance and Agency-wide queries
Assisting and co-ordinating new business tenders providing strong commercial advice

Requirements:

Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualified experience
Creative advertising agency experience
Experienced user and administrator of Maconomy
Experience of leading a team
Enthusiastic, fun, personable, a team player
