Financial Controller - PB11329

Our client is an SME retailer with Private Equity backing and they are actively seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to help grow the business within the UK.

The person who will be successful in this role will be technically strong with a can-do attitude and a practical approach.

Reporting to the Financial Director you will:

Oversee the financial control of the business, working with the Auditors and managing the month end & year end close
Challenge and participate in commercial decision making, contributing to business plans and strategies
Lead the budgeting, planning & forecasting processesproviding good cash flow management
Contribute to and lead projects on an ad hoc basis

The Person:

Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with strong technical and commercial experience
Proven track record of value add and previous experience of retail or fast paced businesses
Excellent communication skills and management experience
